BIN FEN GREEN WALL SYSTEM

In June of this year I was in Taiwan on business, on the Saturday morning I went to the flower market in Taipei, this is an amazing site and worth a visit.
I was looking at a product that struck me as being a 21st C version of the hanging basket that is so popular in the UK, it was a frame made from PP with 5 apertures and into each aperture clipped a special plant pot with a reservoir for water. The frames clip together to form a larger structure ie a circle or square or they will in fact cover a wall - a green wall system.

My company has since taken the distribution for the whole of Europe & USA.
The main difference with most other systems is that the growing medium we use  is compost, and does not need the very heavy watering that other systems seem to need, you can also change the pots - to add color

We have had an amazing amount of interest from fruit farmers for strawberies, Other crops could also be grown, the image above was planted inJanuary 2010 in Taipei, as can be seen by the scale of the people it is 50 to 60 ft tall.
A simple design by a landscape gardener about 40inch square

Here in Taipei there  are probably more GREEN WALL systems than in any other COUNTRY
